How do you measure a wire antenna's proper length at it's feed point using a balun or spacer?
Do you include the length of wire that is looped thru the eye of the balun or spacer and wrapped back on it's self and also the formed loop to the solder lug at the base of balun or spacer's eye?
Or do you just measure the length of the loop from the solder lug to the wrap-back and then to the outer ends of the antenna on each half leaving out the part of wire that loops thru the balun eye and wrap-back?
Thanks, Eddie |
