I would like to build a skyhopper for my 2 meter rig and downloaded the diagram and specs for 146mHz. Unfortunately the numbers don't match and the diagram isn't marked as to what leg is what. I am currently using a Jbeam I built from 1/2 inch copper pipe mounted on top of a 7 foot fence post. With a flat 1:1 swr at 146.430mHz, I am pegging repeaters 125 miles away with about a 3:1 modulation:signal ratio at 30 watts. I am getting ready to set up a mast w/rotator and become a real radio operator and would like to get the best bang for the buck, so would like to try the Sky Hopper to see which one goes on the pole. A 5db gain with 20db F/R is hard to beat, but would like to try.
TIA
