Does anyone have any information on JC Foster (Josiah Calvin Foster) who died in 1864 (born about 1820)? He died as a POW. He is my great-great grandfather, and we have been unable to trace our family line prior to him. Any leads, info, etc. would be most welcome!

Where was Josiah born and who was his spouse ?

Not sure where he was born - but his spouse was Sarah Catherine Burroughs (d. 1868). They were married June 8, 1851.
