lets clear this up
the americans accepted the contract,did the canadians aswell and are they returning to work? the last update was a week ago and nothing has been said since |

The Canadians did take the offer, reluctently, they were strogarmed into submission. We were told that this was not an option. without the U.S. suport Goodyear was going ahead with these plans. take the buyout and roll with what you get or dont take the offer and lose everything... I have paraphrsed this but in a nutshell that is what we were told. I hope you can see why the Canadians are so upset with the Americans. Especialy when we more than likely would not have gone out had the Americans not asked that we join and become part of a socalled master contract. |

Lets all cry together know that will help everything, there were a bunch of things that people didnt like about the new contract, luckly this contract i was able to keep my job (laid-off last time) Do u really think that anyone wanted any plant closed or unprotected??? Really come on stupied people the more plants that close or go un protected the more chance another will be closed. Wake the **** up. |
