You union workers need to grow up and stop complaining
If you union workers are willing to leave a job jus over some small matters then you dont deserve the job, personally i am gettin 8 dollars an hour doin what someone at a plant would make roughly 25... If you cant spend the 50 dollars a month on your own private retirement fund that is just as good as a 401k then you arent an adult...I fyou are willing to starve your family then you honestly dont deserve your job, your family, or even the right to live because you are of no value to society... so go out back and eat a shotgun for dinner, you are all whining more than a 12 year old rape victim... YOUR FAMILIES ARE DEPENDING ON YOU!!!!! |

Perhaps if you were making a less than poverty wage, you wouldn't be so bitter and wishing other people would commit suicide. This letter goes beyond bitterness, and sounds like you could use some serious counselling. I hope we can now all ignore this man who deserves more our pity than scorn just as princessd on this site does, and leave him be. If he is not really that ill, he is obviously a shill just trying to get a rise out of us. Let us not bite. |

Funny! I don't need pity. I am just fine. Hoping you all get what you want, and back to work ASAP. I am not in the same frame of mind as Michael, so Put the pity on him. I agree he is very angry about something, but I am not. I wish you all the best. I simply stated a few observations from my point of view. Last I checked this is exactly what everyone on this board is doing. Oh well, just checking to see if the TA has been voted in. Happy New Year to you all. |

It is very obvious why you only make $8 an hour. Educate yourself on the issues and then and only then will you be qualified to make a comment . If retiree's losing thier benifits and plants closing are small issues maybe you should concentrate on Jerry Springer auditions a little bit harder |

Obviously if you are settling for $8 an hour for a job that someone in a plant would make $25 an hour to do then you aren't qualified to do the job or you would be in the plant making the $25 an hour! I have to agree that you are a sick & disturbed individual with the email address that you have given yourself as well as saying that our Union Members are "whining like 12 year old Rape Victims"? We obviously see what level your mind is on. No wonder you make $8 an hour and not $25... |

JUST OVER SOME SMALL MATTERS......how stupied are u? Or maybe your future doesnt matter or if u have kids they dont matter. If U do have kids then u are teaching them to to roll over and take what u get, and u will forever be making 8hrs. |

Okay, you could say that I am underqualified, yet i graduated from Virginia Tech University. Which for those who arent in the know, has the #4 ranked business courses in the nation and i have graduated from there. I am only near a Dunlop/Goodyear plant because my mother had a major back surgery and I am just taking care of her until she gets back on her feet. She cannot walk due to the pain, i am doing what it does to keep her afloat until she recovers. I do what is expected of me as an ADULT, i DON'T let my family fall into debt, even 8 dollars is acceptable because it is a job that even most of you GED graduates are qualified to do, and now I can see why, it is all brawn and no brains, you should all be ashamed because having such an easy job such as tubing, bundling, or inspetcting tires is a job that should not pay more than 15 dollars per hour. You are all lucky to have found a job that can give the average person a chance to make a decent living yet you all complain while there are single mothers working at a McDonalds or a Dunkin Donuts workin 70 hours a week and still not making enough to feed her kids, yet you all complain about a couple benefits that could easily be taken care of just by setting aside $50 a month (2 hours of work) aside into a private retirement fund with compound interest... Its sad when a SCAB can come up with a simple yet effective solution to a problem nobody else can solve |

and P.S. my summer job is highway construction, I am an operator of a skidsteer and i work anywheres from 80-100 hours every week in the summer, i make 32 dollars an hour and every penny went to pay for my college, you would be lucky if your children have half the drive that i do... so if you really want to rip on the 8 dollars per hour just remember that i know what it means to have bad jobs and great jobs, i can appreciate when a company knows what your talents, work ethics, and time are worth... and Goodyear and Dunlop pays pretty **** well for not having a good college diploma and not having a great work history... Look at a lot of people that are working with degrees like myself, the market is saturated with overqualified people, yet Goodyear and Dunlop pays from $20-$35 per hour, you have all been blessed with a great job but you show no thanks, you rise up against the company that puts the food on your table and the clothes on your childrens backs... Way to be gracious... |

Hey mikey- My husband worked for an asphlat electrician, so yes those hours can be very hard, and long. And he worked as a temp at a plant for $25.00 for like 1 and a half weeks. He now has a job again in asphalt too. You claim you made 32.00 an hour being an operator on a skid?? I think not that much. My Husband made only 20.00 as an electriaicn, and that is more qualified than an operator. Be honest, and realistic in what you are claming on here. My husband has excellent training, and degree as well, and i know what asphalt jobs pay, and what they don't. Have a great New Year. So sorry to hear about your Mother. Hope she gets well soon, so you can return to your high paying job. |

wipe the sand out of your PU$$Y and quit crying, take your whiney a$$ to the plant you are so close to and take the test. if you have the education you claim to, you should have no problem or is factory work beneath you? sure beats $8 an hour and a whole lot of tissue for crying!!! |
