Could we be a bit more accurate?

I just wanted to drop by and ask that you be a bit more accurate on your front page. Auburn University College Democrats did not withdraw from the debate because they didn't want to debate you. There is still a standing invitation to an open debate on October 16th. They withdrew from the debate because you refused to debate the Libertarians before election day. That was the problem. I know it's hard to get truth in advertising, but if you could please request that your webmaster clarify the statement, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Brandon

Re: Could we be a bit more accurate?

Hi Brandon,
Accuracy is a good thing. But it isn’t wrong to say that the AUDems didn’t want to debate us, because they didn't want to, in that setting. Like you said, it is advertising, and there is no need to put all the gory details about everything in it. I think most people know what happened; it was all in the plainsman. With that said I don’t see the need to clarify every statement one makes. However, the statement on the front page is from the chairman, if she would like me to change what she has said that is perfectly fine with me. Is the date of the open debate accurate? It was nice seeing you at the concert, thanks for the discourse.

Thanks,
Timothy
