I took some photos of my fireplace at home and discovered about 5 orbs all floating around the inglenook. I can only think that the orbs are the reflections of mica, a silicate mineral thats released during combustion, which is picked up in the flash. I was wondering if the particles even needed to be near the lens. They are very distinct and quite attractive. Does anyone have anything to add to this? |
