Sites for incontinent adults

I have looked all over the inter net for sites that are for adults who wear diapers to manage their incontinence. The only sites I find are for the AD or DL croud. I am truely incontinent and would like to find some forums about others dealing with the same problem.

Re: Sites for incontinent adults

I tried a site on Yahoo Groups called "AdultIncon", but was pretty much disappointed because very few members would ever reply to emails. I found by previewing (I think that's a word) all the members profiles that no one wanted to include their picture or real names or locations. I am urinary incontinent from a stupid mistake while in the service and wear diapers and plastic pants 24/7/365 for the last 16 years. I am a real person with a real problem but can't find real people to talk to. I find that most of the so-called "incons" are not what they say.

Re: Sites for incontinent adults

Gentlemen, I know what you are saying. I felt the same way. No one will talk. What I wound up doing was going to one of those diaper lover sites. I know that sounds strange, but that was the only place I could get a straight answer out of anyone. There are truly incontinent people on there too, and I think a lot of them may be there for this very reason. That's why I went. The site I mention is at www.tbdl.net, and I have met some really nice people there too. Of course you will also encounter the strangest of people, but if you want to talk to someone that is in the same boat as you are, and ask some difficult questions, that is the place, and I think that's because there is nothing secret there. Like I said, I know of at least a dozen and a half people that are truly incontinent. And I'm one of them too. I have had no control of my bladder or my bowels now for over 4 years. I lost all control after my second back surgery. I've had another since, and need at least one more, but I was told I would never gain control again. It's been a life changing event for sure. And it took a little getting used to.
Good luck finding another place to discuss it at. I hope you find one. And if you do, would you let me know too? Just post it on here. Thanks.

Re: Sites for incontinent adults

There is a website under construction that I seen posted around ( www.adultclothdiapering.com ) that is going to offer products just for people like us that "need" to wear these items.
I have searched high and low for a forum and a place to shop that is not AB orianted. I emailed the company tonight to see if they could offer forums. We'll see!

I will post when I see they have opened.

Re: Sites for incontinent adults

I received a email back and they will add forums for us.

They also informed me that the grand opening is July 1,07.

I hope this information helps.

Re: Sites for incontinent adults

I have been a member of a forum called Incontinentsupport.org for several years. They monitor the board and keep the AB/DL out. They have several active posters, me being one. If you are a true incontinent diaper wering adult, they can help a great deal. They have for me! ....Paul

Re: Sites for incontinent adults

The website we are on www.adultclothdiaper.com has been providing products for the incontinent for years. They are not a AB or DL site and they have great products, fast shipping & good prices. I have been a customer here since about 2003 and have always been satisified with everything I bought.

I have had incontinence since a car accident and the information at incontinentsupport.org has been the best out there, I agree with Paul on that.

Re: Sites for incontinent adults

The NAFC (National Association for Continence) site has a forum that is moderated and seems to not allow ab/dl posts. Simon Foundation does too, I think.

Ron,
I think the site you are looking for is WWW.adultclothdiaper.com, not diapering.com. Try that and see if it works......Paul

Re: Sites for incontinent adults

So far I am impressed with what I have read here. I had a turp surgary done (Prostate), though the V.A. Hospital and I am still having incontinent problems. A lot of people will not open up to this type of a subject because it is embarrising to talk about. Thus, I am talking about this though the enternet. But really, if the guys at work ever knew that I am wearing a diaper,...they would not get it. Now I am looking for plastic pants because I leak if I drink to much water. Hmmmmm drink water or suffer heat stroke. I live in Nevada.
