Re: Folding adult cloth diapers

the best way by far i have found is the kite shape.

take a square adult diaper and lay it on the bed or where-ever so as you stand in front it looks like a diamond.

take the two side corners

\/ \these ones

and bring them into the middle till they meet making a sharper point then bring the top corner down over the previous fold giving an enclosed top waist band.

if all is well you should now have a triangle shaped diaper in front of you place yourself on the diaper so the formed waist band is in the small of your back and bring the front up between you legs.

at this point fold the front point over inside the diaper so that it forms a closed front waistband. (when doing this the waistband should be wide enough to go round the body to meet the back waistband.)

folding the front and back points in wards provides an extra layer to collect waste without the need for a soaker pad.

now pin and your done.

hope it makes sense its easier to show then to explain but search for kite fold diapers hopefrully you'll find pictures that will make it clear
