Leakmaster Plus
Has anyone tried the Leakmaster Plus waterproof pants sold on this site? I have been using the regular leakmaster pants and they don't last quite as long as I'd like. Any recommendations?

Re: Leakmaster Plus
Hi Tim..... I just turned 50 & have been incontinent my entire life & totally urinary incontinent for the past 15yrs. I was born w/an undersized bladder that never fully developed. I also suffered damage, due to a serious illness, in this area when I was around a year old when this happened & almost died. In fact the doctor didn't think I would pull through; but I did! Unfortunately, the muscles involved in controlling urination are gone from years of constant emptying of the bladder. Needless to say, it's no fun but you have to go on with life & try not to let this affliction get the best of you. Anyway, I have been using the Leakmaster Plus plastic pants & they do hold up better than the standard plastics. I've had these for going on 2 years & am just replacing them. Still, there are no plastic pants out there, as far as I know, that will last for any length of time. That's just the way it is for various reasons. My experience is that they harden & crack in the crotch area in time. This is just something you have to deal with. Hope this was of some help. I would give the Leakmaster Plus pants a shot. They are of excellent quality. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Re: Leakmaster Plus
i have several types of vinyl or plastic pants. i recently got leakmasters myself. i air dry them completely and store them in ziplock bags with excess air squeezed out and keep them out of sunlight. i only remove them at room temp for use,as i travel and the pants get cold at times in winter weather.i like the vi products pants but they are out of production, formerly gerber vinyl pants.the elastic in the leakmaster legs and waist are comfortable, and care must be taken when removing them because the waist has a tendency to roll and possibly tear the vinyl where the elastic is sewn.i feel they are a good quality pant and i like the high waist ones for my night time diapers.

Re: Leakmaster Plus
I just recieved the leakmaster deluxe in size large and find that they work extremely well in stopping leaks, though are very big for a large. Next time I order they will be Medium.

Re: Leakmaster Plus
I use nothing but the leakmaster plus pants now. I've tried their "Highback" pants, but they wre of a thinner material, didn't last but 3 weeks if that. I do know that if you are using ANY KIND OF OIL and it gets on your pants, they WILL BECOME BRITTLE and crack. I've ordered some from other places, but I like the quality and fit of the ACD co. pants better.
