The Gospel according to
Having watched tonights game i am still wondering how 3 players received red cards, all the first two needed was a good talking too,the third one was sent off for making a tackle, where the ref was assisted by the cogenhoe manager who raced onto the pitch, but the ref failed to spot this.If this is the standard of officials in the ucl this season i feel very sorry for all the teams involved and also the supporters as the headline says The Gospel------------------- |

Have to disagree...we weren't privy to whatever was being said within range of the referee and as we know they were dancing like stag beatles with heads locked together....I don't believe the ref had any alternative other than to send them off. As for Pagey,he definetely committed two yellow card offences and on another day could have been sent off for either. However, Mr Collins is now banned from the ground for entering the field of play unauthorised!!...seriously though I take your point that he added fuel to the fire. |

Do not agree Kev they were sent off for violent conduct(not for anything said)as you say they were dancing about a bit but that is hardly violent conduct.Differant case for Pagey on his 2nd yellow he played the ball first i was 10yards away so i had a good view. You say the reds were deserved,i think you find yourself in the minority. |
