Referee at todays game
Having just returned from holiday i attended todays game at Long Buckby and over the 90 mins i felt that the best team on the day won, however can someone explain to me the referees performance? from the first minute he seemed to be biased to one team,he booked 5 des players of these 2 were deserved but he seemed to miss the two footed challenge in the first half and the retaliation when Molly was booked or of course choose to ignore them. Where did he get 7mins 49secs of injury time from as there was only two stoppages in the game.I know we are short of officials but if this is the best he can do the time is ripe for him to retire. as i said before well done to Long Buckby |

Totally agree 'REG'. Paul Burell should go back to being a butler rather than refereeing. I couldn't understand where the 7 mins of injury time came from, nor some of the bookings. A shame that with the last kick of the season we lost the runners up position. Nonetheless,we must celebrate the teams achievements this season and not let final game refereeing decisions spoil what has been an outstanding effort for nine months. |
