Although we always looked the stronger side against already relegated Kempston,they gave us a fight for 45 minutes.With the wind against us, the quality of Sneddon's goal following a break by Byrnesy showed the difference between top sides and the bottom. Kempston kept plugging away and got a deserved equaliser just before half time. Michael Byrne's injury and the introduction of Tom Mills and Joe Cossey meant tactical changes gave us a more balanced approach in attack. Jegsy's goal was out of the blue but was coming to us.Molly Malone scored the third,this time for Ar Tarn as opposed to earlier in the week when he scored for Corby Youth against the boys in blue. A win in difficult conditions on a sticky pitch.3 points is 3 points.Unfortunately Stotfold won again-but the lads are doing proud.Keep going,nearly there. |
