Bourne again!
A 1-0 away win in a game I think we just about deserved.The goal came in the 48th minute following good work from Byrnesy-leading to Michael Sneddon shooting low past Almunia in the Bourne goal. We should have had a penalty on 80 mins when Byrne was pushed over in the box. Nice to do the double over Bourne in a week.Results went our way as well today apart from Stotfold, but there's still a long way to go.For me, man of the match was Paul Malone. Well done to the ressies too for winning 3 nil too.Looking forward to a cracker on Tuesday v Long Buckby. Team- Evans,Stanton,Logan,Pownall,Malone,Mills,O'Neill( replaced by Armstrong 75 mins),Sneddon( replaced by Page 65 mins),Byrne,Caswell,Gilsenan (replaced by McClarty,62 mins). |
